![]() I have my PS4 Pro connected using ethernet, and although using the PS4 built in speed test shows slow speeds, when I actually download games/updates its very fast. ![]() You using wireless or ethernet? the PS4 wireless is only 2.4Ghz wireless N, so it's not fast at all. ![]() ![]() I spoke to countless Rogers live chat agents and they kept testing the connection which is working fine on my wireless laptop and wired PC getting around 270 down on wireless and 922~ down on wired, I tried port forwarding the modem to no avail, Is it the modem? It's a CODA-4582, I read on the forums that the CGN3 was better for console internet, any tips? When switching over to Rogers because they had the 1gb service available for me I was thrilled to be able to have over the 65MBPS I was getting from Bell, however, shortly after Rogers installed I tested the speeds on my PS4 to find out I was getting a whopping 15mbps down 945KBPS up, testing multiple times to find random speeds every time, but averaging around 40~mbps down. I recently switched over from Bell to Rogers because Bell didn't provide the gigabit internet service in my area. ![]()
